Back in seattle again....
Feb. 3rd, 2004 12:40 amSo here i am at the beautiful Doubletree in Tukwila, WA. Exciting. Last time i was here i got fed up with the choice of television channels. There's ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, ESPN Classic, and Fox Sports....but is there MTV, Discovery, TLC or even Comedy Channel?....no. So I wrote a nice email explaining that their selection is obviously skewed toward some market that i'm not in, and it's rather unfair. A nice man named Scott replied and asked if there was anything he could do, since they're under contract to provide those channels til 2005 or something. So i got a free movie out of it at least. When I checked in, who was behind the desk, but manager Scott. He saw my name and is all "Carrie Bradfield, who doesn't want to watch sports channels...great to meet you!" hehehe.
I'm doing some testing for work right now, and watching tv. I worked out tonight, wheee! I did the little bicycle thing and lifted some weights while watching/listening to "my big fat obnoxious fiance". I was doing some of the toning moves from a Self magazine too. I think the guys in the gym were a little curious about what i was trying to do. some of them look really weird.
I'm all hooked up for the week. I have cereal and soup and stuff, and I had the magic hotel procurers bring me a microwave so I can cook some stuff. This is all so much better than eating wendys or pizza hut every day. blech. bad for the zinny-diet!
