Are there any yarn stores in the Minneapolis area I shouldn't miss while I'm here? Ones close to downtown are best since I'll have to either take a bus or a cab.

I'm very fond of Depth of Field, which is on the West Bank (near the University of Minnesota). I like it for lots of reasons, but mostly for their clearance loft.

Next Saturday, my Aunt is taking me someplace out in the burbs that she claims is spectacular (and she's my Knitting Yoda). It's called The Yarn Cafe.

I know exactly where the Depth of Field one is...it's walking distance to the music building where I took flute lessons last year!

I've heard of the Sheepy Shoppe but it looks like it might be a little far away.
