They're not supposed to take "construction" trash. They can be bitchy, so I wasn't sure if they'd take it since it's old ceiling tile (and a lot of it).
You either get a trash company to bring you a dumpster that you put in your driveway or something and fill it up, then they haul it off, or you can get someone to haul it directly to a landfill or transfer station.
Woohoo! My parents trash company can be bitchy too. They'll either leave a nasty note AND not take it, make you buy special bags for it from the city, or wait till city wide pick-up which is in like October, I think.
