Have you tried zillow.com?

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be particularly accurate in my area. I've heard the same thing from people on rehabbers club too. Seems a bit out of date.

I think its a new website. But they don't have good data in all areas yet.

Yeah, a guy I work with said it's off for his area of Chicago too. But in his case, the numbers are higher than reality.

I think it's going to be an awesome resource if they can work out all the kinks.

Your old house: very cute, and not too far away from where I live in Rock Hill. Too bad my fiancee and I are about a year or so away from this house-buying business, as the location and size is just what we are looking for.

My sister lives in Rock hill.

Too bad indeed! It would be cool to see it go to someone I know (kinda at least).

Brent and I think we need to meet you now that you know where we're going to hopefully live :)

Where at in Rock Hill? I'm in the only apartment complex in that city (for now), just off of Manchester. There are some nice homes in Rock Hill, though I am not too keen on the new mall that will be coming in at the McKnight/Manchester intersection.

There's going to be a mall there? Good lord the traffic problems I predict...

That's close to one of our favorite steak places - Charcoal house. Yum :)

My sister has a house behind Hacienda in a little neighborhood back there.

*nods* All buildings on the southwest corner of McKnight and Manchester, from the intersection up to the RSI Kitchen and Bath store, are slated for demolition. This includes the building housing Rock Hill's fire department and City Hall. Some of the homes along McKnight south of the intersection, along with some along Leonard Street, will be demolished as well.

What exciting things will be in this mall, you wonder? A Stein Mart! A Starbucks! A Cold Stone Creamery! And...U.S. Cellular, Deck the Halls, Jaffee Lighting, Michael's, QuikTrip, Books-A-Million and three banks. On the northwest side, which is where Cafe Brasil is located, will be more stores, condos, offices and an old folks' home. Behind this, on Rock Hill Road, some homes will eventually be demolished to make room for the relocated City Hall, fire and police department, and probably the city library. Please note that the firm responsible for developing this project, Novus, is the same one who got into the huge mess in Sunset Hills. Also add, on top of this construction, the much-needed repair to I-64 which will funnel more traffic down Manchester Road towards the construction site.

In short, your sister's little neighborhood won't be so quiet very soon.

We have the exact same coffee table, and I have an old refrigerator door like that, too. Although mine has the skyline of Minneapolis painted on it. A favorite dumpster diving find.

That's not just a door :) It's a "built in" refrigerator that actually works!!

My poor coffee table is nearing the end. It has a crack that's slowly growing :(

If I were looking and it was in my price range, I would set up an appointment immediately.

No, there's a bench there. It's just hard to see in the picture.
