Mack has decided he doesn't know/like Mimi. Poor kitty girl is being harassed.

This is what I get for letting him out for an hour or so while I was talking to Patty.

ETA: Mimi is reciprocating now. She's hissing at him even though he's not provoking her. Sigh.

Mine do that a lot--especially if Matt decides to bring his kitty upstairs to play. Then they run around for 24 hours acting like they haven't known each other for every year of their 14 year lives....

It's so weird! I had no idea they could temporarily forget like that.

I was actually wondering earlier, if he was doing it because he had been outside and he wanted to pretend to be a strange outside cat.

I always thought it was because Watson is stupid--but Holmes will do it too. The first time I brought them to my mom's over a longer vacation, Holmes was so angry at the other kitties in the house, when Watson jumped on the bed, he threw some paws around and smacked my nose (hard enough to make it swell a little, enough so my mom noticed!) when I tried to get them apart. Then about 24 hours later, they still didn't like the other cats, but there was no more hissing or anything. They're all just silly!!
