another sweater

So I've started making this sweater. It's in a lovely blue shetland aran (wool/alpaca blend). I started it last weekend and I've got the two sleeves done and a few inches of the body.
I just took the body off the needles and tried it on. It's going to be just perfect. Body-hugging but not tight at all. I can't wait to finish it.
The yarn (color is pretty accurate. maybe slightly lighter in the photo than in real life)

The sleeves (one cable is slightly messed up. Oh well).

The body. Here you can see I've already knit the kangroo pocket in front and will attach it to the body at the top when I get enough body rows done.

Here's the cable detail on the sides of the body. It starts wide at the bottom and narrows at the waist, then gets wide again at the bust area. It's pretty subtle since it's all on the side seams, but very nice I think.
